Get into the Christmas spirit at the Grassington Christmas Markets, taking place in the heart of the village on Saturday 28 November and Saturday 5 December 2026.
Browse the festive stalls, discover gifts and local produce, enjoy seasonal treats and soak up the atmosphere as Grassington comes alive for Christmas. With the village beautifully decorated and plenty of independent shops, cafés and pubs to explore, it’s a lovely way to spend a festive day in the Yorkshire Dales.
After exploring the markets, pop into the Black Horse for a warming drink, a bite to eat or something festive from our Christmas menu.

Come along and enjoy the magic as Grassington lights up for Christmas, with the village filled with festive atmosphere and plenty to see and enjoy. Afterwards, pop into the Black Horse for a warming drink, something to eat or a festive tipple and make an evening of it.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Black Horse Hotel with a night of live music, dancing and party atmosphere from 9pm.
Join us in Grassington for an evening of music from Maria Watton-Graham and her DJ keeping the dance floor going as we count down to midnight and welcome 2027.
Whether you’re joining us for the evening or staying overnight, come along, raise a glass and see in the New Year with us.
